GCUXCU Workshop

This international joint workshop was conducted with students from Gachon University and Chulalongkorn University as a collaborative design studio based in Seoul.

Mixed teams of Korean and Thai students carried out site-based research across selected urban areas, focusing on everyday spatial conditions, patterns of use, and cultural differences embedded in daily life. Through walking, observation, documentation, and discussion, students translated their findings into visual and conceptual spatial proposals.

The workshop emphasised process-driven exploration and cross-cultural exchange, encouraging participants to reflect on how urban experience, scale, and everyday behaviour inform spatial interpretation.
