Second Printing

We are pleased to announce that the second printing of 『공간 안에서』, the Korean translation of Robert McCarter’s Space Within, has been released.

First published in April 2025 as part of Sungkyunkwan University Press’s “Spatial Studies Series,” the book explores the central role of interior spatial experience in modern architecture. Moving beyond an emphasis on external form, it examines architecture through inhabitation, sensory perception, memory, and the lived experience of space.

The publication of a second printing is particularly meaningful, as it reflects the continued interest of students, educators, researchers, and practitioners in reconsidering architecture from the perspective of interior experience.
