Conference Award: Best Presentation Prize at KIID Spring Conference
Undergraduate researchers Jaemin Kim and Jaewon Ahn (4th year students, Department of Interior Architecture, Gachon University) presented their design project at the 2025 Korean Institute of Interior Design (KIID) Spring Conference held on May 17 at Chung-Ang University, Seoul.
Their work explored how the identity and values of the global niche fragrance brand Le Labo could be reinterpreted spatially.
The students proposed a multi-sensory retail environment integrating olfactory, tactile, and auditory elements. The project was highly praised for its innovative approach to spatial branding and received the Best Presentation Award at the conference.
The work was developed as part of Professor Keunhye Lee’s Spatial Experience Lab, continuing the lab’s exploration of sensory-driven design strategies in interior architecture.
