Visiting Lecture at Shanghai Normal University
On 26 November, Professor Keunhye Lee was invited to deliver a special lecture at the Department of Environmental Design, College of Arts, Shanghai Normal University.
The lecture explored how spatial experience is shaped within cultural contexts, highlighting the ways in which space can be defined not only by its physical form but also through social activities, everyday practices, and shared cultural behaviours.
During the session, Professor Lee also presented student design projects from Gachon University that integrated AI-based design methods. These examples demonstrated how generative AI tools can be used to expand conceptual thinking, develop spatial narratives, and support iterative design processes within interior architecture education.
The visit served as a meaningful opportunity for academic and cultural exchange, fostering dialogue on design pedagogy, spatial experience, and future collaborative activities between the two institutions.
